Can I book directly instead of through Airbnb?

Can I bring a boat?

The house has its own 60-foot dock on Menantic Creek and a boat slip. Please note the powerboat pictured on the dock belongs to the owners and is not available for guest use. Get in touch with your boat’s draft and length and we will talk through the tides with you.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are welcome. Let us know what you are bringing when you book. Assistance animals are always welcome.

Is the pool heated, and is it available year-round?

It is a dipping pool in a hedged garden alongside a cedar sauna, opened seasonally. Reach out about your specific dates and we will confirm exactly what will be open.

How many cars can I bring?

There is free private parking at the house for up to three vehicles, plus an EV charger on the property.

Is there a television?

No — deliberately. There is fast wifi and a dedicated workspace in two of the bedrooms, a piano on the landing and a wood-burning fireplace downstairs.

What is the check-in process?

Self check-in, any time after 4:00 PM. Detailed arrival instructions and a guide to the house go out before your stay. Checkout is by 10:00 AM.

Is the house good for families with small children?

Yes. Bedroom four has a bunk bed and daybed on the main level, and there is a pack ’n play. Do be aware the property is on the water and the pool is not fenced — it has an automatic safety cover and door alarms, but children need supervision outdoors.
